# Depth Effect Wallpapers vs WallsPy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Depth Effect Wallpapers at every 3 days against WallsPy's every 4 weeks. Depth Effect Wallpapers also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (96 vs 26). WallsPy's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 25%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Depth Effect Wallpapers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WallsPy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Depth Effect Wallpapers holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 96 and 26 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Depth Effect Wallpapers's written reviews are positive against 50% of WallsPy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Depth Effect Wallpapers ships an update every 3 days, WallsPy every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
