# OmniLock vs XLocker

OmniLock and XLocker both sit at 3.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of OmniLock's written reviews are positive against 50% of XLocker's. OmniLock also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OmniLock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and XLocker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

XLocker holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 29 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of OmniLock's written reviews are positive against 50% of XLocker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OmniLock ships an update every 3 weeks, XLocker every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
