# OmniLock vs Task Commander

The clearest difference is update cadence: OmniLock at every 3 weeks against Task Commander's every 9 months. Task Commander's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OmniLock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Task Commander sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OmniLock ships an update every 3 weeks, Task Commander every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
