# chilli vs TogetherIV

The clearest difference is rating: chilli at 4.9 against TogetherIV's 4.4. chilli also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (630 vs 11). TogetherIV's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 82%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TogetherIV sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. chilli asks for nothing beyond the download.

chilli holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: chilli has 630 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of chilli's written reviews are positive against 100% of TogetherIV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

chilli ships an update every 5 weeks, TogetherIV every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
