# WEquil App vs Patristic Nectar

The clearest difference is rating: Patristic Nectar at 5.0 against WEquil App's 4.1. Patristic Nectar also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 12) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). WEquil App's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Patristic Nectar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Patristic Nectar has 1.9K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of WEquil App's written reviews are positive against 93% of Patristic Nectar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WEquil App ships an update weekly, Patristic Nectar every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
