# Refocus vs TreePT

Refocus and TreePT both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of Refocus's written reviews are positive against 0% of TreePT's. Refocus also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 6) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). TreePT's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Refocus sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and TreePT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Refocus against 4.8 for TreePT. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Refocus has 12K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Refocus ships an update weekly, TreePT every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
