# Slitherlink vs Trubics

The clearest difference is update cadence: Slitherlink at every 6 days against Trubics's every 3 weeks. Slitherlink also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 1). Trubics's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slitherlink sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Trubics sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Slitherlink against 5.0 for Trubics. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slitherlink has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Slitherlink ships an update every 6 days, Trubics every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
