# Point in time vs Calculator 17

Point in time and Calculator 17 both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Point in time's written reviews are positive against 22% of Calculator 17's. Calculator 17's advantage is ratings volume (971 vs 5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Calculator 17 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calculator 17 has 971 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Point in time's written reviews are positive against 22% of Calculator 17's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
