# PureCollage vs Video Grid Collage Maker

The clearest difference is rating: Video Grid Collage Maker at 4.9 against PureCollage's 4.1. PureCollage's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PureCollage sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and Video Grid Collage Maker sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Video Grid Collage Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of PureCollage's written reviews are positive against 50% of Video Grid Collage Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PureCollage ships an update every 5 days, Video Grid Collage Maker every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
