# TecnoNet vs Open Seguricel

The clearest difference is rating: Open Seguricel at 4.0 against TecnoNet's 2.8. Open Seguricel also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). TecnoNet's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Open Seguricel holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TecnoNet has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TecnoNet ships an update every 9 months, Open Seguricel fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
