# Scrypted vs ProxMate Pro

Scrypted and ProxMate Pro both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 92% of ProxMate Pro's written reviews are positive against 33% of Scrypted's. Scrypted's advantage is price (Free vs $12.99) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). On rating, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Scrypted is free to download; ProxMate Pro costs $12.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Scrypted against 5.0 for ProxMate Pro.
