# Scrypted vs AAWireless

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AAWireless at 100% against Scrypted's 33%. Scrypted's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (16 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scrypted holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Scrypted's written reviews are positive against 100% of AAWireless's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scrypted ships an update every 3 weeks, AAWireless fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
