# Scrypted vs Omada Guard

Scrypted and Omada Guard both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Omada Guard's written reviews are positive against 33% of Scrypted's. Scrypted's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (16 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Scrypted against 5.0 for Omada Guard. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scrypted has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
