# SML Lens vs AlphaCut

The clearest difference is ads: SML Lens at none against AlphaCut's shown. AlphaCut's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SML Lens ships an update every 2 months, AlphaCut weekly. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
