# EasyVPN vs 9D VPN

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EasyVPN at none against 9D VPN's 4. EasyVPN also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 44%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). 9D VPN's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 9D VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. EasyVPN asks for nothing beyond the download.

9D VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 190 and 530 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of EasyVPN's written reviews are positive against 44% of 9D VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EasyVPN ships an update monthly, 9D VPN every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
