# SoftVPN vs SpeakApp AI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SpeakApp AI at 87% against SoftVPN's 33%. SpeakApp AI also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.7) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). SoftVPN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoftVPN sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SpeakApp AI sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpeakApp AI holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SpeakApp AI has 9.6K ratings behind it against 119, so its average is the more settled of the two.
