# Tracepad vs 7clave

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 7clave at none against Tracepad's 3. Tracepad's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tracepad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. 7clave asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tracepad ships an update every 3 days, 7clave every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
