# LANTERDIT vs Looka

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LANTERDIT at none against Looka's 1. LANTERDIT also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). Looka's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 16 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Looka sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. LANTERDIT asks for nothing beyond the download.

LANTERDIT ships an update every 16 months, Looka every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
