# Forma vs Gradeable

The clearest difference is price: Forma at Free against Gradeable's $0.49. Forma also leads on ratings volume (26K vs 1) and chart position (#100 vs unranked). Gradeable's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On in-app purchases, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Forma is free to download; Gradeable costs $0.49 up front. Forma sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Gradeable sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gradeable holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forma has 26K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Forma ships an update every 3 weeks, Gradeable every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
