# SWIPTV vs Flix Pro Player

The clearest difference is rating: Flix Pro Player at 4.8 against SWIPTV's 4.2. Flix Pro Player also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 125) and review sentiment (80% vs 72%). SWIPTV's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SWIPTV sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Flix Pro Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flix Pro Player holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flix Pro Player has 3K ratings behind it against 125, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of SWIPTV's written reviews are positive against 80% of Flix Pro Player's.

SWIPTV ships an update weekly, Flix Pro Player every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
