# Paid App vs Remotely Task

The clearest difference is update cadence: Remotely Task at weekly against Paid App's fortnightly. Remotely Task also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Paid App's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Remotely Task holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paid App has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Paid App ships an update fortnightly, Remotely Task weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
