# Return to Monkey Island vs Infinity Sky

The clearest difference is rating: Infinity Sky at 5.0 against Return to Monkey Island's 4.3. Infinity Sky also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 months) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). Return to Monkey Island's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (176 vs 5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Return to Monkey Island sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Infinity Sky sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Infinity Sky holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Return to Monkey Island has 176 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Return to Monkey Island ships an update every 5 months, Infinity Sky every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
