# AI Widgets vs StandBy

The clearest difference is rating: AI Widgets at 5.0 against StandBy's 3.3. StandBy's advantage is ratings volume (44 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and StandBy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 6 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Widgets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StandBy has 44 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AI Widgets ships an update every 11 days, StandBy every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
