# WatchType vs MixyLook

The clearest difference is update cadence: MixyLook at monthly against WatchType's every 2 months. WatchType's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WatchType sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and MixyLook sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WatchType ships an update every 2 months, MixyLook monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
