# PanoCut vs ChaseLight

The clearest difference is update cadence: ChaseLight at every 5 days against PanoCut's every 3 weeks. ChaseLight also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PanoCut sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and ChaseLight sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PanoCut ships an update every 3 weeks, ChaseLight every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
