# Display Text vs Beacon

The clearest difference is rating: Beacon at 5.0 against Display Text's 3.0. Beacon also leads on ads (none vs shown). Display Text's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Display Text sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Beacon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Beacon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 3 respectively.
