# Central Cycling vs LIGHTWRK

The clearest difference is monetization model: LIGHTWRK at free against Central Cycling's ad-supported. Central Cycling's advantage is ratings volume (136 vs 20). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Central Cycling against 5.0 for LIGHTWRK. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Central Cycling has 136 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Central Cycling ships an update every 3 weeks, LIGHTWRK fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
