# Planetary Magick vs Witchy Coven

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Planetary Magick at 88% against Witchy Coven's 50%. Planetary Magick also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.4 vs 26.0). Witchy Coven's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planetary Magick sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Witchy Coven sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Witchy Coven holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Planetary Magick's written reviews are positive against 50% of Witchy Coven's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Planetary Magick ships an update every 2 months, Witchy Coven every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
