# Switch vs Veritas Battery

The clearest difference is update cadence: Veritas Battery at every 4 days against Switch's every 12 months. Veritas Battery also leads on rating (4.2 vs 3.9). Switch's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 5) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Veritas Battery holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Switch has 25 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 64% of Switch's written reviews are positive against 67% of Veritas Battery's.

Switch ships an update every 12 months, Veritas Battery every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
