# EzioDash vs Barnacle

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EzioDash at none against Barnacle's 2. Barnacle's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barnacle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. EzioDash asks for nothing beyond the download.

EzioDash ships an update every 2 months, Barnacle every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
