# Noteit vs Planist

The clearest difference is rating: Planist at 5.0 against Noteit's 4.7. Planist also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Noteit's advantage is ratings volume (36 vs 2) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noteit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and Planist sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Planist holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noteit has 36 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Noteit ships an update every 9 days, Planist every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
