# Noteit vs PrivScanner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PrivScanner at 100% against Noteit's 70%. PrivScanner also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Noteit's advantage is ratings volume (36 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noteit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and PrivScanner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrivScanner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noteit has 36 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of Noteit's written reviews are positive against 100% of PrivScanner's.

Noteit ships an update every 2 weeks, PrivScanner every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
