# Ping vs Daily G

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ping at every 2 days against Daily G's every 9 days. Ping also leads on ratings volume (107 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Ping against 5.0 for Daily G. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ping has 107 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 98% of Ping's written reviews are positive against 100% of Daily G's.

Ping ships an update every 2 days, Daily G every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
