# Ping vs SitterCircle

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ping at every 2 days against SitterCircle's every 2 weeks. Ping also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (108 vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Ping against 5.0 for SitterCircle. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ping has 108 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ping ships an update every 2 days, SitterCircle every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
