# Timer Stopwatch App vs Ultimate Focus

The clearest difference is price: Ultimate Focus at Free against Timer Stopwatch App's $9.99. Ultimate Focus also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (190 vs 2). Timer Stopwatch App's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Ultimate Focus is free to download; Timer Stopwatch App costs $9.99 up front. Timer Stopwatch App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ultimate Focus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timer Stopwatch App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ultimate Focus has 190 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Timer Stopwatch App's written reviews are positive against 86% of Ultimate Focus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Timer Stopwatch App ships an update every 9 months, Ultimate Focus every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
