# Nelko vs ohloyal

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ohloyal at none against Nelko's 8. Nelko's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 1) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nelko sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. ohloyal asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Nelko against 5.0 for ohloyal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nelko has 20K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nelko ships an update every 8 days, ohloyal every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
