# The Kodak vs CreatorFest

The clearest difference is update cadence: CreatorFest at every 4 months against The Kodak's every 17 months. The Kodak's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Kodak ships an update every 17 months, CreatorFest every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
