# FireTek vs Chief Commander

The clearest difference is rating: Chief Commander at 5.0 against FireTek's 3.5. FireTek's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (31 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chief Commander holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FireTek has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FireTek ships an update weekly, Chief Commander monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
