# Commit vs Snapp Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Commit at every 2 weeks against Snapp Notes's monthly. Snapp Notes's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Commit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Snapp Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Commit ships an update every 2 weeks, Snapp Notes monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
