# Freshsamak vs Fish FM

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fish FM at every 5 days against Freshsamak's every 5 months. Fish FM also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Freshsamak ships an update every 5 months, Fish FM every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
