# LeoChat vs Reading Guild

The clearest difference is rating: Reading Guild at 5.0 against LeoChat's 4.5. LeoChat's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (13 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Reading Guild holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LeoChat has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LeoChat ships an update every 2 weeks, Reading Guild every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
