# Scan.Plus vs TagReCon

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TagReCon at none against Scan.Plus's 3. Scan.Plus's advantage is ratings volume (774 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scan.Plus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. TagReCon asks for nothing beyond the download.

TagReCon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scan.Plus has 774 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
