# Homework.ai vs PicSolve

Homework.ai and PicSolve both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of Homework.ai's written reviews are positive against 39% of PicSolve's. Homework.ai also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). PicSolve's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (7.5K vs 311). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework.ai sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and PicSolve sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Homework.ai against 4.5 for PicSolve. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PicSolve has 7.5K ratings behind it against 311, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Homework.ai's written reviews are positive against 39% of PicSolve's.

Homework.ai ships an update fortnightly, PicSolve every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
