# Homework.ai vs PhotoSolve

The clearest difference is monetization model: Homework.ai at free with in-app purchases against PhotoSolve's subscription. Homework.ai also leads on review sentiment (93% vs 72%) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). PhotoSolve's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 311). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework.ai sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and PhotoSolve sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Homework.ai holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 311 and 1.4K respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 93% of Homework.ai's written reviews are positive against 72% of PhotoSolve's.

Homework.ai ships an update fortnightly, PhotoSolve monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
