# Council vs DivMate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Council at every 2 months against DivMate's every 5 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Council sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year and DivMate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Council ships an update every 2 months, DivMate every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
