# OmgFic vs NovelSea

The clearest difference is rating: NovelSea at 5.0 against OmgFic's 2.7. NovelSea also leads on ads (none vs shown). OmgFic's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OmgFic sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and NovelSea sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NovelSea holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of OmgFic's written reviews are positive against 0% of NovelSea's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OmgFic ships an update every 8 days, NovelSea every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
