# OmgFic vs Coread

The clearest difference is rating: Coread at 4.4 against OmgFic's 2.7. Coread also leads on ratings volume (107 vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 14.0). OmgFic's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OmgFic sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Coread sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coread holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coread has 107 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of OmgFic's written reviews are positive against 0% of Coread's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OmgFic ships an update every 8 days, Coread every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on August 12, 2026 and July 5, 2026 respectively.
