# Ustreme vs IPTV Smart Player

The clearest difference is rating: IPTV Smart Player at 4.6 against Ustreme's 4.0. IPTV Smart Player also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (26K vs 4). Ustreme's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 48%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ustreme sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and IPTV Smart Player sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IPTV Smart Player holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Smart Player has 26K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Ustreme's written reviews are positive against 48% of IPTV Smart Player's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ustreme ships an update every 3 months, IPTV Smart Player monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
