# BookWatch vs ACIM Workbook

The clearest difference is rating: BookWatch at 4.7 against ACIM Workbook's 3.5. BookWatch also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 6) and chart position (#52 vs unranked). ACIM Workbook's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BookWatch sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and ACIM Workbook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BookWatch holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BookWatch has 14K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of BookWatch's written reviews are positive against 40% of ACIM Workbook's.

BookWatch ships an update every 3 days, ACIM Workbook every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
