# PrerAp vs ALPHASUR

The clearest difference is update cadence: ALPHASUR at every 4 days against PrerAp's every 5 months. PrerAp's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PrerAp ships an update every 5 months, ALPHASUR every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
